Panthers are weak at RW. Great move, I've always liked Boyes his career can get a boost w playing time and maybe on the same line w Gomez.

As for Montreal fans coming on here, I bet Montreal is the team the Panthers beat more than anyone else in our division. Habs don't scare anyone.

As for this season being worse than last? Don't see that happening, the only way it happens is if Barkov ends up being a total bum and huby getting a season ending injury. I think Drouin and Jones will have better careers but I hope in wrong here. Hated the pick, but ill stay optimistic in hopes that Barkov ends up being a top line C.

If Barkov doesn't become a 1st line C then this pick was a failure.

Not right away but at least by year 3 I want him to be our top guy with 75+ points per season. If not then Tallon failed and this team will continue to rebuild and rebuild until they somehow get it right for once.

I said it from day 1. Passing on Jones and Drouin was a huge mistake that shouldn't have even happened. Tallon said from day 1 that he'd draft BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE. Not for need. Unfortunately he drafted for NEED this year and it could end up Fing us over.

Yeah, I know.. Montreal usually has painful seasons,it's a shame really! They should be relocated to Seattle.
